While the primary responsibility of educational funding rests on the student/family, Hardin-Simmons is pleased to offer financial assistance to help in your pursuit of a post-secondary degree. The enclosed “Financial Aid Award Notification” is HSU’s commitment of funding to you based upon the information you provided, and in compliance with university, state and federal guidelines. (Certain student responsibilities accompany this award).

To ensure consideration for subsequent years, you must meet the requirements as explained in this publication in the Statement of Satisfactory Academic Progress. Please also note that the financial aid application process is an annual event and is based on the previous tax year.
